Another Transfer Bites The Dust

Image
Whats going on everybody?!?! I hope you're all doing good and enjoying this summer wherever you may find yourself in the world. Thank you all for tapping in to these emails and I hope they don't disappoint or cease to bring some flare to your days. BUT, enough said, lets see what WENT DOWN this week. Well, as you can see by the title, another transfer has come and gone. So every Wednesday, we have a big Zoom meeting with the whole mission to get a training, but this week President will announce who is staying and who is leaving in front of yhe whole mission and everyone goes crazy!  Thursday morning we find out where we go and with who and then we move on Friday. So, check in next week to see what happened. I would love to stay another transfer with my son. So, this week was pretty low key so ill just put down below some highlights:  First, we found and now we are teaching a Satanist, who claims that he has too many trials in his life. Hmm... i wonder why?  Also, some oth...

I Saw a Pillar of Light...

Hey Everyone!!! How is it going that's right you got the Elder  Ritchie  coming back at you with another email about the crazy little thing called... the mission life. Life is Bright, the food is still amazing, my son is growing in wisdom and stature and in favour of God and the Mexicans, so that is awesome! Well, let's see what we got here... First of all, BIG ANNOUNCEMENT!! For years and years many of you have trolled and quite frankly bullied me on the matter that I always am sunburned and that I never tan. BUT, I have big news, I AM GETTING SO TAN OUT HERE. The sun is literally so strong it is always at the level 11 UV Index which is pretty high and that is the only force in the world that can get me tan. So, of course, I will drop a diagram down below to prove my point. So last week at church the last person was giving her talk when out of nowhere the fire alarm went off!! But like no one did anything, and this sister trucked through it and finished her talk wit...

What The Heck Is The Mission Life

Image
Hey everyone!!! Everytime a week passes in the mission, I start to question everything and how absolutely crazy the mission life is. It was another crazy week!!! We are staying real busy out here and so let's get into it. So, we've hit the rainy season out here in Good ol Puebla. And so literally every single day it rains and we get soaked!! I am literally so tired of being wet and cold, but whatever the work goes on. It's just like rain jackets, umbrellas, and boots don't work and you just gotta keep truckin through it. Also, we just got word that all the missionaries in Mexico are getting phones!! Like every missionary will have their own phone, and that is kind of crazy how much the Lord trusts us with technology to forward the work of the Lord. But, it is going to be an awesome opportunity. So, when we got here, nobody told us that we needed to pay the light bill, and so one day during the night one day they straight up cut the light from us. So then for like a whol...

The Snackrament Goes Hard

Image
Whats up everyone?!?!? Happy July!!! Wow i remember the first day of the year thinking that this whole year i was going to be a misisonary and we are already half way through!! Ok this week was really busy, but awesome!! So first of all, this wards participates HARD in the snackrament, which is basically when they bring like all sorts of type of bread for the sacrament which I am 100% down for. Like for 2 sundays in a row they have brought like this fancy Bakery style sweet bread for the sacrament and not gonna liƩ, it is a really uplifting spiritual experience to eat basically like Great Harvest bread for the sacrament. But there is so much work to be done here!! The other elderes left soooo many people in our area book and so weve just spent every hour visiting people and setting up lessons and invite invite invite. And we were able to put 5 people on baptism and that was just a HUGE miracle for us. And so we are going to keep it going this week and trusting in the Lord and in His mi...
