Tlapa, The Land Of Miracles

Hey everyone!! This week was so awesome, probably one of the most fun weeks I've had in my entire mission! The work goes on, and it's not gonna stop anytime soon! So this week we had our zone conferences! It was so cool to be able to go to all the zones in the mission to minister and to teach all the missionaries what the Savior has revealed to President and what needs to be done. We talked a lot about the baptismal covenant, and how it is an ordinance of joy and hope! So why in the world would we be scared to teach everyone about baptism?!?!?! I would invite each and every one of you to think about how your life has been blessed and the power you have received by being baptized. We put that in practice this week and put our friend Marco on date for baptism. We started by reading 3 Nephi 11 and explaining that the Nephites had suffered many trials and pains. They had lost everything. When they knew that the Savior had come, they shouted Hosanna, which means save us!! So, what ...

Gettin ‘er Done Our Here

Hey everyone! Sorry for not writing last week, but these 2 weeks have flown by! Let's just say that we got 'er done these past couple of weeks. So, two weeks ago there were transfers. And let me tell you they are a lot more stressful haha as an AP. But it really strengthened my testimony that God knows each and every single missionary perfectly and knows what needs to happen so that they can grow! On Wednesday we picked up the new missionaries and it was so awesome to be with them and meet them. They were all really tired though and didn't have a lot of energy which was so weird because I literally was so hyped to see them and I have had SO MUCH energy recently which is weird because I hit 21 months last week! The next day on Thursday we spent the whole day with the missionaries that were leaving. On the 4th of July we went to a REALLY fancy steakhouse and we celebrated their last meal as missionaries. Then we went back to the mission home, played basketball, an...

There Is Peace In Christ

Well, I just had one of the most awesome weeks of all my time as a missionary. And also one of the fastest! I'm really loving my new area and especially my new companion. It's been an amazing rainy week here in Puebla! This week I really could feel my testimony growing. On Tuesday, we went to the temple with all the missionaries in training in the mission! It was so amazing to be with President and all the new missionaries and feel their strong desire to follow God and serve with all their might and strength. Afterwards, we had a devocional where we talked about forming good habits as new missionaries so those habits stay with us throughout all the rest of our missions. On Wednesday, we went to the new zone (La Libertad) we just received thanks to the mission split. They're all great missionaries and are very willing to adapt to the culture of our mission. It's been an interesting transition to all of our mission, but we know it's part of God's plan with his inf...
