Minister In His Name

Hey everybody!! Recently I have been inspired by a recent convert because whenever he sees us he always says, "Hermanos, la vida es bella!!" which means, "Brothers, life is beautiful." I couldn't agree more with Bernardo because LA VIDA ES BELLA!! I have been feeling so blessed recently just by trying my best to keep the commandments and to fulfill my objective as a missionary.

The 4th lesson that I would like to share with you all is that Ministering one by one in the way of the Savior will help others to come unto Christ and stay with Him. 

This week was so special because I got to go on exchanges with the zone leaders! It is such a blessing to go out with them and see how I can help them in their zones and with their missionaries. We talked about every individual missionary, about the goals of every zone, and how the zone leaders are doing. We always see special miracles too!

We have also been working a lot with the members who have not been participating recently in the church services and activities. But it is also so amazing to see their faces when we visit them. I know that a lot of them are struggling with their testimonies, family/economical problems, and other situations that take them away from the church. I LOVE seeing how the Holy Ghost can change their views and help them feel more hope.

I have always loved the advice that Lehi gives to his sons in 2nd Nephi, and especially this scripture in 2nd Nephi 2

3 Wherefore, thy soul shall be blessed, and thou shalt dwell safely with thy brother, Nephi; and thy days shall be spent in the service of thy God. Wherefore, I know that thou art redeemed, because of the righteousness of thy Redeemer; for thou hast beheld that in the fullness of time he cometh to bring salvation unto men.

Although my full time missionary service is coming to a close, I am so excited to spend the rest of my days in the service of my God. In my missionary service I have learned to love ministering and helping others. His way is one by one and full of love, and when we strive to follow His example, He blesses us with the strength to become more like Him. And that is what I am counting on after my missionary service.

ALso, this past week I received my travel plans to come home. I will be returning home Friday Night September 27th, and all are welcome to my Homecoming Talk Sunday, September 29th at 9 am. It has been such an honor to serve the Lord these two years and I am so excited to finish strong! I love you all! Have an amazing week!
