Last Transfer, The Best Transfer

Hey everyone! I am so sorry that I have been so terrible at writing emails lately. Things have built up and a lot has happened!! And I've seen the Lord's hand in every single moment of it.

Well, I'm going to be doing something different in these last 6 emails that I have. Every week I'm going to be sharing the 6 most important lessons that I've learned along with what happened in that week. This week the lesson that I want to share is that: The gathering of Israel is the Lord's work and of no one else.

These past couple of weeks have been so much fun! To sum it all up we went through all the process of transfers. This is always such a sacred experience for me because we seek to see how God wants the missionaries to progress and what He wants them to become. We talk about each and every single missionary in the mission and all the new missionaries that will arrive. Then under the spirit of prayer and by the authority of the restored priesthood keys that president has, we decide as a counsel how to proceed with the transfers!  I know that the transfers come from God and not just us, and it is because it is His work and His glory.

Also, I got a new companion and his name is Elder Naglieri and he is from Sao Paolo Brazil! He's so cool and it was so awesome to see how over the past couple of months the Lord has been preparing him for this assignment. It's also awesome to be a white guy from Idaho, with a Brazilian teaching the restored Gospel of Jesus Christ in Spanish in Mexico. There is no other place I'd rather be right now!

A week ago we also had the baptism of Marco!! He was so willing to let God prevail in his life. I testify that if we seek to do God's will, God will bless us with miracles. Marco was our miracle! One day he just showed up to church after being invited from a member like 6 months ago. Since then he read the entire book of Mormon, came almost every week to church, and preached the gospel to his family. He was baptized a week ago and yesterday he blessed the sacrament! God really blesses and chooses those who love Him to be their God.

But what made the miracle even more special is that the day before His baptism we received a reference of someone searching for a way to come closer to God. Jonathan expressed a desire to come to church and so we quickly explained to him about covenants and how we can literally bond ourselves with the Lord and invited him to the baptism. He came, and the power of the ordinances was so strong that He accepted a baptismal date right after the services!!! God really does all of the heavylifting and prepares His children to make covenants with Him.

The last experience that I want to share is from yesterday. My companion Elder Naglieri's mom was baptized!! It was such a special experience to be able to connect through zoom to watch his mother become a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. In a year he will be able to be sealed to His family. God truly touches the hearts of those who had once hardened them against Him through His Holy Spirit. It was one incredible week and I am so blessed to be apart of it.

Well, that is all for this week. Please please please find a way to get involved in the greatest work going on in the world right now, the Gathering of Israel. I love you all, have an amazing week!! It truly is a perfect work.

The works, and the designs, and the purposes of God cannot be frustrated, neither can they come to naught.

For God doth not walk in crooked paths, neither doth he turn to the right hand nor to the left, neither doth he vary from that which he hath said, therefore his paths are straight, and his course is one eternal round.
