The Knowledge Of Our Redeemer

What's going on everyone?!?! I hope all is well in Zion and that everyone is enjoying their summer break! It was a pretty awesome week, and one again I owe you all an apology because I've been ssoooo bad at writing emails, but here we go with another one!

Don't worry I'm doing ok!! I think part of the reason why I haven't been writing as much is because I just think not that much is happening or anything interesting is happening. But what a blessing that is!! I LOVE that my normal, daily routine is working hard to share this glorious gospel with all those who are willing to hear it. I am sooo happy, healthy, and feel so blessed to be here in this part of my mission! I really have been trying to show gratitude for all the ways that God has blessed me.

Yesterday, we had the baptism of Carmen! Super awesome experience and her story is so cool. So basically because of the Open House for the Puebla Temple, a lot of returned missionaries came back to visit puebla and to see the temple. This one missionary named Sister Johnson came to Puebla and found Carmen who she taught 5 years ago! Carmen was being taught by the missionaries until the pandemic hit and she lost contact with the church.

Then, like a month ago, Sister Johnson came back, found her, and brought Carmen to church! She then took the necessary steps and prepared herself to enter into the waters of baptism yesterday!! It's been such a great ride! And she brought a whole family with her to come watch her ger baptized and we set up another lesson with them!! It was a miraculous weekend.

I love this scripture in Mosiah 18:30. It reads,

30 And now it came to pass that all this was done in Mormon, yea, by the waters of Mormon, in the forest that was near the waters of Mormon; yea, the place of Mormon, the waters of Mormon, the forest of Mormon, how beautiful are they to the eyes of them who there came to the knowledge of their Redeemer; yea, and how blessed are they, for they shall sing to his praise forever.

In my mission (just like this scripture) I feel so blessed to have come to the knowledge of my Redeemer, Jesus Christ. It's just an awesome cycle. I learn about Christ, and then I teach about Him. Then others learn about Him and this knowledge because beautiful or treasured in their eyes and they receive blessings. And that's an amazing blessing for me to see haha!! I know that Jesus Christ lives, not because I've seen Him or because I have a perfect witness. Rather, I have felt His presence and His love and His power. And there is no force in heaven or on earth that can take that testimony away from me.

I love you all. Have an amazing week!!
