Life Is Good

Hey everyone!! The weeks are flying by and we're doing great our here in Cholula. We've got some good stuff cooking up! Life and good and we are working hard!

Soooo we had transfers and I stayed here in Quetzacoatl, Cholula and Elder Yoder left and I got a new companion named Elder Heaton! He's awesome and he's from Wyoming. Things are looking good here and we're hyped to get working! Also, fun fact, we're the official Yoga teachers for the mission which is so fun haha.

Well, the Puebla Temple open house has officially ended but it was such a blessing for the people in Puebla. God is so good!! Puebla is the promised land and everyone will be very blessed for having a House of the Lord. Our friend named Angel Ramon came to the temple with us last week and he LOVED IT! He felt so much peace and love and the spirit was calling to him. Yesterday, he came to church and we were able to put a baptismal date for him! The spirit really does testify to bring God's children home, and the first thing to do that is baptism!

Also, it was really awesome because all the old missionaries that served here in the Puebla South Mission came back to see the temple and it was kinda weird to see all of them, but it really cool to talk about the good old times haha.

Ok now the moment you have all waited for... FOOD REVIEW!!! It's been a while so sorry about that but today I am reviewing: Tacos Placeros. I'll drop a picture below. Basically it's a GIANT taco. Like the Pic down below is just ONE taco. And it's got like basically everything you can imagine, (Steak, French fries, cheese, beans, salsa, Peppers, avacados, and onions). It's definitely way hard to eat but its a bomb so it gets 8.1/10

It's really been crazy to me how much God has prepared His children and has helped us as missionaries to get His work done. It reminded me of a quote from Elder Kearon last transfer. It says,

"My friends, my fellow disciples on the road of mortal life, our Father’s beautiful plan, even His 'fabulous' plan, is designed to bring you home, not to keep you out. No one has built a roadblock and stationed someone there to turn you around and send you away. In fact, it is the exact opposite. God is in relentless pursuit of you. He “wants all of His children to choose to return to Him,” and He employs every possible measure to bring you back"

God desperately wants you to come back to him. For that very reason we are seeing the Kingdom of God on earth being hastened like never before. It's incredible!! Think of what God is doing to bring us back home. He's allowing temples to be built in every part of the world. He is empowering missionaries to teach all of His children the gospel. He is talking to us through the mouthpiece of His prophets every 6 months. It's honestly incredible.

Let's all rejoice and immerse ourselves in the glorious light of God's love. Let's do all that is necessary to return to His presence! And Let's help others do the same. Have an amazing week. I love you all!!
