High On The Mountaintop

Wow!!! It's been an amazing week!! Like absolutely incredible!! We have been so blessed for our efforts as missionaries.

We had interviews with President on Friday and he really helped me to understand that God will bless us for every single efforts we out into the mission work. We've been working so hard in Quetzalcoatl and sometimes it's been hard to see those fruits. But then he promised me that every single effort I make, the Lord will consecrate them into blessings. He invited me ponder the following quote from Presidente Russell m Nelson,

"Anytime you do anything that helps anyone—on either side of the veil—take a step toward making covenants with God and receiving their essential baptismal and temple ordinances, you are helping to gather Israel. It is as simple as that."

AND WE HAVE SEEN SO MANY BLESSINGS ITS CRAZY!!!!

First of all, we got permission to go to the temple open house with our friends in teaching! So we went Saturday night and it was so beautiful!! Like absolutely incredible. And the volunteers were all from Refugio, one of my favorite areas!! It was so awesome to see all of my favorite members and some recent converts from there! And the couple we brought LOVED it and were amazed at everything they saw. One of my favorite days on the mission for sure.

And like Easter Sunday so many years ago with the resurrection of the Savior, we also had a Sunday FULL of miracles!!!! I'll give a recap here...

-The members invited sooo many new friends to church on Sunday. Like we were able to get 15 references from members and we have lessons with them for this week!

-A man literally chased us down and told us he was interested in getting closer to God and we were able to set up a lesson with him this week

-We found 2 recent converts from another ward that got baptized that morning!!! And they shared their testimonies of Jesus Christ to us on the street

-We found a friend of ours on the street walking back to the house and we invited him to the temple on Thursday and he accepted!

-We somehow found an inactive member that I helped reactivate in Refugio! She explained to us how the Gospel has changed her life and that now she has a calling, she got endowed in the temple, and is preparing to receive her Patriarcal blessing, and has never been happier. The Gospel changes lives!!

-Finally Elder Yoder also found 2 converts from his other ward and they were able to talk about their conversion with him.

I just love being a missionary because I am almost always engaged in a good cause to help others to come unto Christ. And God will bless me and others for every effort I make.

"Fear not to do good, my sons, for whatsoever ye sow, that shall ye also reap; therefore, if ye sow good ye shall also reap good for your reward. 34 Therefore, fear not, little flock; do good; let earth and hell combine against you, for if ye are built upon my rock, they cannot prevail."

Go out and do good!! Keep studying! Pray on! Keep ministering to the afflicted! Keep loving! Keep going about doing good! And the Lord will protect, bless, and help you all. Have an amazing week. I love you all!!
