My Companion Killed Me
Hey everyone!! I hope you are all doing good and enjoying life. Thus week was also a little same old business but we saw some cool miracles and we were able to help a lot of people get to know their Savior a little bit more.
But! Time has been flying by! Last week I hit 15 months as a missionary. And! It is the last week of the transfer so we're gonna see what happens. I'm pretty sure ill be staying here with Elder Fowles but I'm willing to accept anything the Lord has for me.
Also, thank you all for the birthday messages you are all seriously the best! And I'm sure you are all aware about the Mexican traditions of shoving cake in your face. So this Saturday we did something as a district and my companion DESTROYED me. Like he actually slapped the sins out of my soul. Ill drop the video down below so check it out. Also, it was Elder Fowles birthday of Tuesday so it was a week of double birthdays.
Annnnyyyyywwwwaaayyyyysss, I'm sorry that my emails have been kinda lame recently but its just that we've been getting down to business. We finished our like almost week long exchanges, had some awesome interviews with President where we talk a lot of ministration, and we had an awesome stake activity where we hit a buzzer beater 3 to win a basketball game.
So, in this time of New Years resolutions and new goals, I have been pondering a lot of what I could do to obtain more knowledge of the Lord and I came across this scripture in Jacob 4:8, it says,
"Behold, great and marvelous are the works of the Lord. How unsearchable are the depths of the mysteries of him; and it is impossible that man should find out all his ways. And no man knoweth of his ways save it be revealed unto him; wherefore, brethren, despise not the revelations of God."
We can study for Years and years and read the Book of Mormom over and over again but if we do it without the spirit of Revelation, we will NEVER be able to figure out the ways of the Lord. I cherish the gift of Revelation and how it has been restored to the true church of God. I would invite you all to pray everyday for inspiration from the Lord. I can promise you that the Love, Light, and Guidance from the Lord will flow into your life. I love you all and appreciate all the support from you!
