All Good Things Come From God

Hey everyone!! How's it going?!?! It has been a few good weeks here in Nealtican, and we've been really practicing our diligence and faith with our people in teaching. Anyways, let's get into it:

First of all, I stayed in my area for another transfer. I've been feeling really blessed to be here with all the members and their awesome stories. Elder Fowles is an absolute DAWG so it's been so awesome grinding it through with him. Anyway, 6 more weeks in Nealtican. WOOHOO!

Also, we just got word that soon Elder Soares from the Quorum of the 12 apostles is going to be coming to the mission!! It's gonna be so awesome to hear his words and feel the spirit so strong. We're also going to join the 2 missions (Puebla North and South) together to hear him. It's gonna be great!

Also, real quick I just want to share a cool experience from this past week.

So the Bishop requested that we go and visit one inactive person from the ward. So one night at like 7:30 we set out to go out and find this person.

But then all of a sudden we started getting a whole bunch of impressions to go and talk to a lot of random people. Like constant and constant impressions to go and visit someone or talk to another person and literally every single person rejected us. Like someone actually refused to accept a Book of Mormon I was offering them. So that was kind of disappointing.

So it took a little longer to make our route to the house, and on the way we literally got lost. Our area in Nealtican has 3 streets... and yet we somehow got lost for 15 minutes.

It just didn't make any sense!! We were trying to go visit an inactive and yet why would God give us all these impressions just to waste time and literally why would he allow us to get lost?

But it all made sense when we got there and his house is at the end of a gated alleyway and we had no way of entering. We were that we had no way of getting in, and that's WHEN HE PULLED UP THE EXACT TIME WE SHOWED UP!! And then we were able to minister to our friend in his house.

Many people have a hard time knowing when to distinguish between the Spirit and normal thoughts. But as Elder Bednar once said, we don't need to worry about it. If it is of worthy praise or of Good Report, or going to help someone come to God then do it. Because it comes from Him. Even if it doesn't seem like it at the time. I love you all!! Have an amazing week!! And follow those impressions!! Only good things will come from it :)
