He Knows And Loves You
What's going on everybody?? I hope you all had an amazing week because this week absolutely flew by for me. It was an amazing week out here! I sure did learn a lot! We were really busy and so we got a lot done.
This Tuesday and Thursday we had our leadership counsel and our zone conference!! They were so good and we talked a LOT about making our culture in the mission a culture of living the doctrine of Jesus Christ. Through having faith in the Savior's Atonement, Daily Repentance and remembering and keeping our baptismal and temple covenants, relying on the Holy Ghost to cleanse us, and moving forward until the end is what brings blessings and happiness! We are really striving to live the Doctrine of Christ to the highest level and teach it to others as well. We set some awesome goals as a mission and we can't wait to keep working hard on them!
We also had one of the coolest experiences of my life. So on Friday night we were on our way back from a lesson at about 8, so we had time for one more lesson before we had to hear home at 9. We were hustling a little bit when all of a suddemy companion and I stopped at the exact same time, but we had no idea why, we both simultaneously felt like we needed to. Like we both out of nowhere just stopped walking and looked at each other We looked and we were standing in front of a sister's house and we felt like we needed to go inside.
We knocked and the sister invited us in and we were going to share a message. We started with a prayer and she burst out in tears and as soon as I said "amen" her and her daughter asked for some blessings immediately. In those blessings we both felt the strongest impressions to bless them to "press forward with steadfastness in Christ" because we felt like they were considering leaving the church. It was so powerful to be able to feel the spirit so strongly.
After that, they shared everything with us. Turns out, they had a talk and they were ready and making plans to stop coming to church for good. They told us that this week has been horrible and they were finding trouble to feel God's love. But, we showed up at the exact right time when they needed an answer from God and to our delight all of them came to church on Sunday.
I testify with all the energy of my soul that God knows you personally. I have had too many experiences and too many spiritual confirmations to doubt that fact. And Jesus Christ taught that truth too. He said in Matthew 10:29-31.
"29 Are not two sparrows sold for a farthing? and one of them shall not fall on the ground without your Father. 30 But the very hairs of your head are all numbered. 31 Fear ye not therefore, ye are of more value than many sparrows."
God knows you all. Even down to the hairs of your head. And his Invitation? "Fear ye not!" It has always been so comforting to know that I am truly never alone, and that I have someone who understands me, especially when I have been struggling in the mission lately. So we have to trust in Him and submit ourselves to His will. It is so hard, I know that for sure haha. But! There will always be that Heavenly help. He is a Fourth-Watch God. He will always be there when you can't even take one more step, because He knows your limits. If you are having trouble knowing this truth, get down on your knees today and ask Him if He knows you. I promise you that you will receive an answer. Trust in Him! He's just accommodating things :)I love you all! Have an amazing week!
