Two Gringos In The Big City

What in the world was this past week?!?! SOOO MANY THINGS CHANGED WHAT THE HECK. So yeah that's enough small talk lets just get into it.

Ok so first off, we had transfers this week!!  I indeed got transfered and it was pretty sad to have to leave my son in Atlixco. But, some things went down, and our last night together we went out for some epic tacos to celebrate an amazing transfer. Also, I got sent back to the city!! Which is hype I love the city and even better I am training again!! I received a brand new missionary!! His name is Elder McDonough and literally none of the Mexicans can pronounce his last name which is hilarious. He is from Salt Lake, and so we are just out here, 2 white guys in the city. Now I have to teach him Spanish and how to not die in Mexico, but it's gonna be an awesome adventure.

This past Friday was transfers and our ENTIRE mission got together to have a meeting to say goodbye to President Jenson. It was so hype to see everyone it was literally like Alma 27 when Ammon fainted because he was so happy to see his brothers. Then we had a final devotional with them and we got a 1 on 1 picture with them. We sang our mission hymn with the entire mission it was literally one of the most hype days of my life.

So yeah on Wednesday, we'll receive President and Sister Oryasabel (or something like that) their name is kinda weird. They are from Chihuahua and they are super young, only on their like 40s so it will be an interesting change.

Also, we whitewashed this area because the other elders here just absolutely clowned around for 3 months and basically lost all of the trust of the members so that's kind of fun to have to deal with haha. But, I know in whom I have put my trust, and it's gonna be so hype with my new don I literally love training I could do it my whole mission.

Anyways, ill keep it shorter and sweeter today but I do want to share a real quick thought with you guys today. I really have just been thinking about how grateful I am to be out here on a mission. And that's what I want to share today gratitude. In Alma 26:37 that says,

"37 Now my brethren, we see that God is mindful of every people, whatsoever land they may be in; yea, he numbereth his people, and his bowels of mercy are over all the earth. Now this is my joy, and my great thanksgiving; yea, and I will give thanks unto my God forever. Amen"

I really do think showing gratitude is one of the ways we can develope out Christlike Attributes and show humility and an eye single to the Glory of God. And so today I have a 2 very special invitations to everyone. 1. I want everyone tonight to get on their knees tonight and offer prayer of gratitud to our Heavenly Father. Just thank God for all the things in your life, and don't ask for anything. 2. Reach out to someone that are grateful for and let them know about it. Let them know how much they have touched your life. And I testify that if you guys do that, you will be able to feel and see the love of God in your lives a little bit more clearly as we see all the blessing God has given us. And with that everyone have an amazing week and I love you all!!
