A Week Of Miracles

Hey everyone!! I hope everybody's week was fantastic. This week was absolutely amazing and we literally saw so many miracles that I'm going to talk about today.

Ok so first off, we were able to set 3 baptismal dates for the Dominguez-Fuentes Family this week!!! Their story is super cool. So basically the son is going through a really hard divorce and he has a baby that he can't even see anymore because of it which is sooo sad. So one day he was kinda depressed watching Youtube when an ad for the church popped up!! And so he requested a visit for his family and we've been teaching them ever since. He said to us on our last visit that he used to just wake up and get so mad and just throw and break things in his room, but now he has finally found the peace that he has always wanted in his life. They are all so receptive to the spirit it is so cool, and they are like the dream family. I am so happy for them and their decision.

Also, Friday was my birthday!! I am sorry that I won't be able to respond to all of your messages, because you all are so amazing and sent me so much love!!! And I am sure that a lot of you are familiar with the tradition of getting cake slammed in your face, and yeah... I got caked. A few times. But it was so fun because we had our district counsel, and got to go to an Hermana's house for dinner and cake. It was seriously an amazing day and so glad to be here in Mexico for that.

Also, here is a really cool experience that was a miracle for us. So, we had a lesson that was like forever away and we wanted to contact some people in this area. But we walked all the way over there and they cancelled on us so we were depressed walking back and we prayed for a miracle that we could find someone to teach. Then on our way back, there was a guy that was in front of us that kept looking back at us, and so we decided that we needed to talk to him. And so we kept inching closer and closer to him, when he finally said, "These sidewalks are kinda small, right?" and we responded "Yeah they are where are you going?" Then he invited us in and now we meet with him regularly!! It is so cool and is a testimony builder that God answers every prayer.

Also, one more miracle. My entire time as missionary I have only had 1 person come to church. But, yesterday at church we had EIGHT people come to church. It was such a blessing and we're really making progress in our area. And our ward is so awesome and they make them feel so welcome!

Ok for my food review today I'm gonna review ELOTES. Now Elotes are corn on the cob, mayo, cheese, and chile. It is legit sooo good and un poco picante tambien, but it gets a 7.8/10.

My spiritual thought of the week comes from Moroni 7:

Behold I say unto you, Nay; for it is by faith that miracles are wrought; and it is by faith that angels appear and minister unto men; wherefore, if these things have ceased wo be unto the children of men, for it is because of unbelief, and all is vain.

I want to talk about miracles for my spiritual thought. Every son and daughter of God are entitled to miracles. All that you have to do is 2 things. 1. You need to ASK GOD FOR A MIRACLE. Don't be afraid to ask God for the miracles you need. 2. We need to have the faith for a miracle. I have been guilty of this in the past, but we can't just ask for things, and hope they happen. We need to act in faith, and the results are going to bless our lives. So, please please please SEEK AND EXPECT MIRACLES IN YOUR LIFE.

Anyways, I encourage all of you to work a little harder this week to be Christlike and hopefully you all can find some miracles in your lives. Anyways, I hope you all have an amazing week and I love you all!!
